Topographic surveys are performed to provide the contours and elevations of the land.  The elevations are given on a 50 foot grid typically, as well as the curb and gutter elevations and elevations of structures, such as manholes and catch basins.  This information is then used for the engineering and site design.






A Plat of Survey is performed in order to determine the boundary of a parcel.  Monumentation is set at the property corners after the boundary is determined.





An ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey is the most complex of surveys.  It is held to the national standards as set forth by ALTA/ACSM and NSPS.  This type of survey is typically performed for commercial clients for the sale or purchasing of commercial property.
